Tool Library Class Guides

As part of my volunteer work at the Station North Tool Library, I’ve developed several reference guides for makers to bring home from class. One of the co-directors has also requested I write additional guides for other classes, especially as they aim to make the Library more accessible. For this ongoing project, in each guide I complete the following:

Draft the instructional text based on my curriculum development, teaching, and learning experiences.
Solicit feedback and edits from Tool Library leadership.
Draw illustrations in Procreate on the iPad.
Typeset the document in Adobe InDesign, for both web and print formats.
Implement titles, descriptions, tags, and bookmarks to make the PDF more accessible for people who have low- or no-vision or neurological differences.
